We are looking for an experienced Direct Procurement Manager to oversee and drive our procurement function, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and agility in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals to ensure a professional and efficient procurement function.
Develop and implement strategic procurement improvement plans.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, identifying new opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
Ensure competitive costs while meeting quality and delivery targets.
Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
Oversee procurement of raw materials, proprietary, and manufactured components.
Coordinate internally manufactured component parts for external supply.
Work closely with internal departments to develop a reliable and sustainable supply chain.
Maintain and develop knowledge of ERP systems, specifically IFS.
Attend and proactively participate in meetings, providing insights and leadership.

Skills & Experience Required:

Extensive experience in direct procurement within motorsport or high-level manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of composite, metallic, and proprietary products.
Understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and supplier requirements.
Proven experience leading a procurement team, ideally within a Formula 1 or high-performance motorsport environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel as required for the role.
