Gerrell & Hard are proud to be supporting Hedley Studios to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Oxfordshire. 

Hedley Studios are an exciting, fast-growing private equity backed company in the luxury automotive space. They've recently completed a $20m funding round and are poised for the next stage of their growth journey. 

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to support them with accurate and insightful analysis and forecasting in order to improve our decision making capabilities. This will involve an in-depth understanding of project costs and business cases, and the BoM. We are looking for an individual who has experience of delivering accurate and on-time information, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Key duties; 

•    Develop an in-depth understanding of all Direct and Indirect costs of the business, particularly the BoM
•    Provide business partnering to support the Head of Finance with accurate and meaningful financial information to support month-end reviews and budgets/reforecasts
•    Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts to provide clear and accurate reporting
•    Ownership of timely, insightful and accurate production of management reporting for the business, review and analysis of costs and income, and support in the preparation of reporting packs
•    Responsible for understanding variances against budget or forecast
•    Support audit process
 
Experience and Qualifications:

•    Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Alternatively, we would accept candidates who are qualified by experience (QBE)
•    Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the automotive industry, considered a plus
•    Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, organisation and written skills, with relevant experience of dealing with non-finance colleagues
•    Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
•    Analytical mindset and an eye for detail, capable of working quickly to a high standard of accuracy  
•    Proven ability to work independently and within a team 
•    Solution focused with a recognition of business constraints, ambitions, and operational objectives
•    Experience with ERP Systems – particularly SAP Business One – is a plus
