The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
As a PDI Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the flawless delivery of our hand-built vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:
- Final inspections – Checking each vehicle to exacting standards, ensuring it meets all quality and performance criteria.
- Test driving – Evaluating drivability and performance against set parameters.
- Quality control & documentation – Completing compliance records and ensuring every detail is perfect before sign-off.
- Problem-solving – Diagnosing vehicle issues, root-cause analysis, and working closely with build technicians to refine processes.
- Continuous improvement – Contributing to the evolution of our build and inspection processes to drive efficiency and excellence.
- Supporting prototype builds – Assisting in the testing and development of new, cutting-edge projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- A background in niche, low-volume, or motorsport engineering, with a solid understanding of vehicle systems.
- Craftsmanship-level attention to detail – You take pride in precision and quality.
- Experience working with bespoke assembly processes, where final fit and appearance are critical.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills – You can break down issues systematically and provide insightful feedback.
- A hands-on, team-player mindset – You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm and passion for automotive excellence and innovation.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Motorsport experience
- Advanced driving skills
- Understanding of electric vehicle systems (Hybrid & EV Level 2/3 training)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and harness drawings
- Experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems
