Planning and Logistics Manager responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of the company’s operational plans and logistics operations. This role ensures seamless collaboration with the supply chain team to align production plans with material availability and efficient logistics processes. The manager will work to optimize inventory management, ensure timely delivery of products, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Deliverables
•    Production schedules that align with supply chain capabilities and customer delivery requirements.
•    Efficient inventory levels with minimal waste and stockouts.
•    Timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
•    Processes & capability to deliver short turn around and low backlog in all logistics processes
•    MRP Data accuracy & integrity to allow accurate planning & execution
•    Continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning and logistics performance.
•    Monthly and quarterly reports on key logistics and planning metrics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•    Strong knowledge of production planning, logistics, and inventory management principles.
•    Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and supply chain management software.
•    Analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
•    Leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
•    Problem-solving abilities to address complex logistical challenges.
•    Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and inventory management.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications
•    NVQ Level 5+ or equivalent
•    CPIM and/or CLTD certifications would be an advantage

Hours are Monday to Thursday 07.45am – 4.45pm & Friday 07.45am – 12.30pm.
