Global Sales Manager
UK Based, remote working available
£Negotiable & Competitive + Commission + Bonus + Car + Excellent Benefits
This is fantastic opportunity to join one of our best clients in the world of subsea and marine electronics. If you enjoy technically complex challenges, meeting clients and global travel then this is definitely for you.
We're looking for a passionate and driven sales professional who knows a thing or two about ADCP's and where they are used. Acoustic doppler current profilers (ADCP) are hydroacoustic current meters similar to a sonar, and used to measure water current velocities over a depth range using the Doppler effect of sound waves scattered back from particles within the water column. Hopefully you already knew that!
We need a Global Sales Manager who can identify and achieve profitable sales by offering our products and services to existing and new customers, specifically targeting sales of ADCP. You'll be supporting the regional sales teams, the reseller network and selling directly. There will be significant levels of UK and international travel, approximately 2 weeks out of 4 away from base and you'll be targetting all sectors excluding Defence.
To apply for this position you'll need:
- Demonstrable knowledge of or proven sales experience of ADCP’s.
- Capability to engage effectively and credibly in technical discussions, debates and activities within chosen markets.
- Knowledge of Sonardyne technologies (or similar) and market applications.
- Demonstrated success in global sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in demanding environments.
- Proven sales experience including working with resellers and remote regional sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of contract negotiation.
- Proven in developing and delivering impactful technical sales proposals.
- Educated to a minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent qualification in a technical/science discipline
