Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering & Facilities Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing processes at their Portsmouth facility. The role involves overseeing all aspects of facilities maintenance, including equipment, infrastructure, and safety compliance. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure both operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.

 

Key Metrics

Projects: On-time delivery, scope adherence, and budget control

Health & Safety: Record of accidents, near misses, and improvement actions

Quality: Yield, quality escapes, aging NCRs, and scrap rates

Delivery: OTD (on-time delivery) and past due items

Productivity: Lead time, cycle time, and OEE

Compliance: Maintain regulatory compliance

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial preferred) or a related field.

·         7-10 years of experience in process engineering, facilities management, or related fields.

·         Experience in Lean operations and project management.

·         Aerospace/defense and electronics manufacturing experience is preferred.

·         Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

·         Excellent presentation and communication skills with both customers and stakeholders.

·         High level of organization and strategic planning abilities.
